1. No alcoholic beverages or profane language during play days or point nights or during any youth event.
2. No running of horses outside arena and no horse play.
3. Rider will enter and exit the ally gate and the back gate will be closed. Lead line will enter the ally gate and exit side gate, anyone else who wants to exit side gate it will be their parents or guardians responsibility to open and close gate for them.
4. No horses are to be around concession stand or around the bleachers.
5. Play day and point nights will begin promptly at 7 P.M. If your age group event has already started your name will be added to the bottom of the list. If your age group is over you cannot enter that event but you can enter the next events in your age group.
6. Do not play, stand or lean on cat walk or stairs.
7. If you ride more than 1 horse in an event, points will be only counted for the first horse you ride.
8. On play or point nights you may ride (3) three times only. It is your choice how you ride those (3) times. (Examples: poles, barrels, flags or barrels 3 times or barrels twice and one pole. You must have 2 different events for your points to count.
9. If Wednesday is a rain out the point night will move to the next Wednesday until all point nights are completed.
10. Leadline is a training class for 5 year olds and under with the exceptions approved by the secretary. They must be lead all the way through the pattern by a person 18 years old or older. Riders riding alone will be advanced Leadline. No placing will be kept in either class but participant ribbon will be given in all 3 events.
11. You must be a member of The Kellyville Round Up Club for your points to count. You ride 70% of all designated point nights to qualify for year end awards. Non members will receive participant ribbons only. This rule applies to every age group.
12. As of 1-1-2005 family membership will cost $25.00 and individual memberships are $20.00
13. Anyone under the age of 18, not married and living at home will be considered part of the family membership.
14. If a child has trouble in the ally it is the responsibility of the child’s parents or guardian to see to it they get in the arena.
15. No riding double in play day and point night events.
16. Ages for playday/ point nights will be the age you are as of January 1st. You can move up to a age group, however, once you do you cannot move back to a younger age group.
17. Your name will be called 3 times for the gate, if you don’t make the gate on the third call the next rider will be called and your name is placed at the bottom of the list.
18. As of 1-1-2005 to be eligible for year end awards each contestant must have worked (3) full events (gate, setup poles, flags) etc: Plus 1 member of each membership must work 1 full night in the concession stand. Working a Rodeo will count as working 3 events and concession.
19. The parents or guardian of each youth rider must sign a release of liability. All member must fill out a membership form and liability release. All riders regardless of age must have a signed release of liability on file with the secretary. Non member must also sign a release of liability to ride.
20. If a member does not abide by any of the rules set forth their membership can be revoked at the discretion of the officers and board of directors of the Kellyville Round-Up Club.
21. Negative coggins must be current and owners responsibility. You maybe asked for it any time for your current coggins papers. You must make them available and present them at this time, if you do not have a current coggins to present you asked to leave.
22. All officers and board of Kellyville Round-Up Club will govern these rules.
23. Tack malfunction will not get a re-ride, just a correction run, no points will be given.
24. No stallions on playday/ points nights. All known horses that kick must have a red ribbon in its tail.
25. The tractor will not leave the grounds for any reason, except for maintenance work.
26. The membership year will run from May to May.
27. C.R.W.D. will not receive belt buckles. This is a training class for adult members learning to ride. C.R.W.D. Must move to the (18) eighteen and over after 2 years.
28. On point night each member; rider will get 1 or 3 runs for $5.00. Any rider after that is considered exibation and you will be charged $5.00 per run limited to 3 runs per person.
